By Train

Take the RER C line from Paris and get down at Versailles Château—Rive Gauche station, the closest station to the Palace. It takes a 15-minute walk to reach the palace from the station.

By Bus

You can board Bus line 171, between Pont de Sèvres and Versailles. It takes around 30 minutes to reach the Palace of Versailles.

Considering a Versailles Full-Access ticket would be the best option if you are taking public transport.

You will get access to all the attractions in the Royal Château of Versailles, which is valid for one day. It costs €32.

However, this ticket doesn’t include transportation from Paris. You will have to find your mode of transport.

We highly recommend booking the Versailles with Bus Transport for a hassle-free trip.

You have around 5 hours for a half-day visit and 9 hours for a full-day visit to tour the Palace, which is fair enough to go around the attraction.
