The Gallery of Coaches is generally open in the afternoon. However, it will remain open from 2 July to 31 August, from 9 am to 6.30 pm every Tuesday to Sunday.
However, there are a few exceptional closing times for Night Fountain Shows and special other dates—29, 30, 31 March, 18 May, 27, 29, 30, and 31 October.

The Timings of Versailles Musical Shows
Four musical events take place at the Palace of Versailles: The Musical Fountains Show, Musical Gardens, The Night Fountains Show, and The Royal Serenade.
The Musical Fountains Show
The fountains and water features in Versailles spout to the baroque music in this musical fountain show.
It takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 30 March to 27 October, every Tuesday from 7 May to 25 June, and on 15 August.
The Versailles Musical Fountains Show’s timings are 10 am to 7 pm.
The Musical Gardens
Musical Gardens are open every Tuesday to Thursday from April 2 to October 31. The timings are from 9 am to 7 pm.
The Night Fountains Show
The Night Fountain Show takes place every Saturday from 16 June to 15 September. It features water displays from 8.30 pm to 10.40 pm and fireworks from 10.50 pm to 11.05 pm.
The Royal Serenade
This Royal Serenade will take place either after the Musical Fountains Shows or before the Night Fountains Shows.
The event happens every Saturday from 8 June to 14 September, 14 July (Sunday), and 15 August (Thursday).
The serenade starts at 6.50 pm, 7.10 pm, 7.30 pm, and 8 pm, and each show lasts 40 minutes.
Best Time to visit Versailles Palace
The best time to visit the Palace of Versailles if you want to avoid the crowd is 2.30 pm.
By then, all the tourist buses and their passengers had finished exploring the royal residence and headed back.
The next best time is 9 am, as soon as the palace opens for the day.
Wednesdays and Fridays are the best days to visit the Palace of Versailles, as they are less crowded than other days of the week. Sundays and Tuesdays tend to be the busiest.
The best seasons to visit are from early April to late June and early October to early November, though these are high seasons and can be crowded.
For a more peaceful experience, visiting from early November to late March is recommended.
