Planning to visit Versailles Palace in your vehicle and wondering about parking?
You can find car and coach parking lots in several spots around the Palace.
The main parking areas are Parc de stationnement-Place d’Armes (right outside the Grille d’Honour), Grand Trianon, Petit Trianon, Queen’s Hamlet, and Bailly Walk (near Grand Canal). These locations make it easy to access different parts of the Estate.

Where to Park in Versailles?
Here is the detailed information on parking lots in the Chateau de Versailles:
Near Palace
If you are visiting the main Palace building first, you can park your vehicle at Place d’Armes.
Cars, minibusses, and coaches can be parked here.
You will also find cash registers for the car park at Place d’Armes.
Coach parking is available only at Place d’Armes and at the Crossroads of the Grand and Petit Trianons.
Visitors with reduced mobility can park their cars at the North Ministers’ Wing. Note that car parking is only available here.
If you are coming by taxi or private transport, you can get off at the wing, close to Entrance H.
Near Gardens
There are two parking lots near the Gardens—Place d’Armes and Grand Canal Parking.
Place d’Armes is close to the Gardens, and it takes about a 13-minute walk to reach the Gardens.
Grand Canal Parking, located inside the Estate on Bailly Walk, is only available for cars.
Designated parking for disabled visitors is available at Grand Canal Parking. Additionally, physically challenged individuals can park on Sheep Walk near Neptune Gate, which is not open to the general public.
To enter through the Queen’s Gate and Saint Anthony’s Gate, show your valid permit for free entry.
You can make the parking payment at the Queen’s Gate.
Near the Trianon Palaces
There are three parking spaces (for cars only) near the Trianon Palaces and Marie-Antoinette’s Estate—the Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon, and the Queen’s Hamlet car park.
You can pay at the Queen’s Gate or Saint Anthony’s Gate.

Timings of Versailles Palace Parking
The parking timings differ depending on the high season and low season.
From April to October (high season), you can enter anytime between 9 am to 5.50 pm.
From November to March (low season), the timings are 9 am to 4.50 pm.
The same timing applies to Saint Anthony Gate. However, it is only accessible on weekends and public holidays.

Parking lots near the Versailles Palace
There are a few parking spaces just outside the Versailles Palace.
At the Place d’Armes car park, you will pay €1.20 for every 15 minutes for the first four hours and €0.60 for every 15 minutes after that. It just takes a five-minute walk to get to the Palace.
At the Europe car park, you can park for €0.60 every 15 minutes. A 10-minute walk will take you to the Palace.
The first hour is free at the Avenue de Sceaux car park, and after that, you will pay €0.60 for every 15 minutes. It takes 13 minutes to reach the Royal Residence from here.
At the Saint-Louis car park (underground), you will pay €0.70 for every 15 minutes for the first half hour, €0.50 every 15 minutes after the first half hour up to four hours,
You will have to pay €0.30 every 15 minutes from the fifth to the twelfth hour.
If you park from 12 to 24 hours, the fee is €22. It takes a 13-minute walk to reach the Versailles Palace from here.
