Luggage Lockers
You can keep your luggage and bags safe at the free automatic deposit in the North Ministers’ Wing. Please make sure your luggage doesn’t exceed the size of 46 x 43 x 26 cm.
Bulky luggage is not permitted temporarily inside the Versailles premises for security reasons.
However, some automatic deposits (school children only) are available at different information points.
We recommend traveling with lightweight luggage, as you have fewer storage options, especially large bags and suitcases.
Please avoid carrying valuables such as large amounts of cash and jewels.

Water Supply Points
Free water supply points are available at various locations across the estate.
You can find one near the South Ministers’ Wing in the Honour Courtyard.
Another is between the Grand Canal and Apollo’s Fountain in the Park.
There is a supply point near the restrooms at the Grand Trianon.
You’ll also find one along the Dovercote at the Queen’s Hamlet.
Lastly, there is a water supply point in the Grand Trianon Gardens at the Water Sideboard Fountain.

Audio Phones
An Audio Phone is mandatory for groups of five or more people.
This equipment is used during group tours to hear the live guide clearly without any background noise.
It is also compatible with inductive loops for visitors with hearing impairments.
Please note that the audio guide and phone are two different tools.
The Audio Guide is for self-guided tours, allowing visitors to explore independently.
On the other hand, the Audio Phone is specifically for guided tours, enabling you to hear the live guide’s narration.
Audio Guide
If you choose a self-guided tour, the audio guide is a must-try.
The audio guide narrates detailed descriptions of attractions like the State Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors, and the Galleries.
You can collect an audio guide from the desk in the vestibule of the Dufour Pavilion.
The main audio guide is available in 13 languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Ukrainian, Polish, Chinese-Mandarin, and Arabic. For the Trianon, the audio guide is offered in English, French, and Spanish.

Accessibility
The Palace of Versailles is well-equipped with ramps and elevators.
The South Ministers’ Wing is accessible by wheelchair.
The main Castle features ramps for easy wheelchair access.
The Gardens are largely step-free and wheelchair-friendly.
WIFI
Wifi facility is available all around the Versailles Estate, at the Honour Courtyard, Gardens, and Trianon Estate.

Lost and Found
Any items found within the Estate are taken to Entrance H at the Palace. After ten days, any unclaimed lost property is transferred to the Versailles police station.

You will find toilets and changing tables for babies in Gabriel Pavilion, North Ministers’ Wing, Dufour Pavilion, Queen’s Hamlet, Grand Trianon, and Petit Trianon.
Among these, only Gabriel Pavilion is not accessible to the disabled.
Information Points
The Information Points are where you can get details about your visit, tickets, and a Versailles map. They are your one point of reference for any information related to touring Versailles Palace.
On the Cour d’Honneur, it is located in the North Ministers Wing and South Ministers Wing.
Another information point is located on the garden level of the Dufour Pavilion, accessible after passing through entry A.

The opening hours are Tuesdays to Sundays every week from 9 am to 4.45 pm.
Librairie Des Princes
This Librairie des Princes (Princes’ Bookshop) is a delight for book and art lovers as it takes you to the French literary world and lifestyle.
Spanning over 200 m², you can buy books, postcards, crystal glassworks, artworks, scented candles, etc.
It is located in the South Ministers’ Wing, left of the Honour Courtyard.
The timings are Tuesdays to Sundays from 10.30 am to 6.15 pm during high season (April to October) and from 9.30 am to 5.15 pm during low season (November to March).
Dufour Pavilion Shop
This large souvenir shop is located in the palace’s basement and offers gift collections of artworks, accessories, clothing, bags, books, and many more.
The shop is accessible in the basement after entrance A or at the exit of the visit.
The shop is open daily from 10.15 am to 6 pm during the high season (April to October) and from 9.30 am to 5.15 pm during the low season (November to March).
Laduree Shop
Want to have some authentic Parisian pastries? Go to Ladurée, which has been serving the best patisseries since 1862. It is famous for macaroons.
Located at the foot of Queen’s Staircase, you can access the shop from the Royal Courtyard or at the end of the Grand Apartments tour.
It is open from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm during high season (April to October) and from 9.30 am to 5 pm during low season (November to March).
Known for their macarons since 1862, Laduree Shop offers you delicious Parisian pastries.
Marble Courtyard Shop
After you finish your State Apartments’ tour, you can see this Marble Courtyard Shop
It operates from 10 am to 5.45 pm from Tuesdays to Sundays every week.
Angelina Shops
There are two Angelina shops in the palace: one in a tearoom in L’Angelique at the Versailles Castle and the other in the Petit Trianon estate.
You can enjoy delicious European pastries and desserts. Don’t miss their hot chocolate!
The timings vary between the two shops. It operates from 10 am to 6 pm at the Castle and from 12 pm to 6 pm from Tuesdays to Sundays (Closure depends on season).
