How to buy tickets through the official Versailles Palace website

Attraction and date selection

To begin, head to the official website of the Château de Versailles. Click the “Choose a Ticket” button on the homepage or go to Plan Your Visit > Tickets and Prices from the main menu.

You’ll be shown a calendar interface. Simply pick your desired visit date, and the site will display all ticket options available on that day. The system also prompts you to select a time slot for entry, this helps the palace manage crowds and ensures a smoother experience for visitors. It’s recommended to arrive at the entrance 15–30 minutes before your selected time.

The main entrance to the Palace of Versailles is through the Court of Honor. Once inside the courtyard, you will find three doorways leading into the castle:
